One day, during the last Carnival’s holiday, my friend Pedro invited me to go to his house. He also told me that he was going to call some other friends in order to reunite everybody and form a band.
I didn’t know what to answer, because we were friends but not that close. After thinking some minutes about it, I called him back and accepted his invitation.
When I got there, I met my future “band mates”. I firstly saw August holding a wine colored bass then “Muti” sit with his red guitar. (It was very funny because none of us knew each other, we only knew Pedro). We passed the whole day together so one could know more about the other but I never thought that those guys would turn into my best friends nowadays, actually I thought that this idea of forming a band would never really happen.
Three weeks later, we started to practice every Friday afternoon and since then we’re having a great time together. We started doing some “covers” of famous bands like AC/DC, KISS and Pearl Jam but now we more into developing our own songs.
People say that is difficult to play on a band but I can guarantee you that the friends I’ve made since this idea started are really worth it.
But you guys haven’t had any problems? Of course we had, nobody can continue or improve something without having a problem to “beat it” and it makes you stronger as a group. Sometimes you want to surrender but one week may be enough to change your mind about thinking of leaving it all behind.
"For those about to rock, we salute you!" (AC/DC)

Is this Pedro one of the Pedros in our class? Are you the drummer, lead singer... what do you play? What is the band called?
