To agree or to desagree?

The thing is,that lots of "childrens"want to vote.Exemple: A boy with 16 years, nowadays they want to vote. But,nobody should be allowed to vote before they reach the age of 18.
Many people believe that the age of 18,they can be responsible enough and aware of thingsto decide who will be the goverment of your country. But,they have to knownthat it isn't as simple as this.Children don't have maturity to choose theis delegate.
However, because nowadays children want to give their opinion to show for the older people that they can be responsible to ballot the delegates. Some children, have good points, and good arguments.
I'm absolutely convinced that people under 18,can't vote, because they don't have the necessary arguments.

"Make a difference. Be different"

Hi there! My name is Pedro, I'm 15 years old and I'm from Niterói. I have a huge family which lives in different places of Brazil, but all of them were born in Minas Gerais. My family is not usual at all, maybe that's why I'm a little bit unusual. I'm not even close of a chatterbox, but my close friends ask me to shut up sometimes. I'm not that good of making new friendships, because I'm a little shy, but I'm getting better now. Maybe I don't talk that much because there's always something in my head. I'm a musician, I play the guitar since I was 9, and now I'm starting to learn drums and I'm picking some singing lessons too, even though I'm not that good. I can't live without music, actually it's so hard to define my favourite kind of music, because you can find every kind on my iPod, except funk, pagode and all that Brazilian trash, and most of the bands that I like are unknown here in Brazil. I also have many stories to tell. I've already had girlfriends via Internet, so I have mano stories about my travels to meet them. That's why I'm a writter and a composer too. Most of the things that I write are about my stories, and I'm always writing about something. It's a way of making me feel more relaxed and for me it's a good way to put everything that has been in my mind on a piece of paper. I have a blog which I post everything that I want, including the things that I write, maybe some lyrics too. Like I said, I'm not a usual at all, and that phrase that I wrote on the title is one of the many phrases that I use to define me. I think that's all, If you like it, vote for me (:
oh, and one more thing - here's my blog - http://furnyisburning.blogspot.com/ you can check it out if you want (:

Me myself and I...

<- That's me! My name is Bruna Lofeu. I spent most of my childhood in Cabo Frio but I come from a big family from Niterói. I am 16 years old and I'm studying now at Salesianos.
About me... I am short and I have wavy brown hair. My family and friends know that I am such a joker, but I know when I have to stop. I can be serious too. I'm a calm person but I need my friends and family by my side to be ok. I love spending my time with them. Playing, chating...
I'm not a lazy person like my mum says. The thing is that sometimes I'm tired of school and I need to relax a bit. So, I spend hours on the computer talking to the friends that I can't see very frequently.
One thing that I do and love doing is playing handball. I really like it. It's the way I found to take off all the bad things of my soul and relax for another big day. But is just a hobby.
I'm open to making new friends. I hope you enjoy my profile!

Profile

I've live in Niterói since I was born and I spent most of my childhood in Rio de Janeiro, Teresópolis and Arraial do Cabo.
I've always been really into going to the beach and playing sports. I love the sea, it's a misterious connexion, and sports make me feel good and healthy.
I'm interested in international movies, series and music, I always do one of those three things in my free time. About my studies, I'm in the nineth grade and I still have two years before my English Course finishes. I'm thinking of choosing a professional carrear related to maths, science or social comunication, like an engineer or a journalist and I intend to live in Rio de Janeiro when I get married.
I'd love to be choosed because I'm sure that my personality will contribute a lot and I've always dreamt of being in a program like that.

(Rachel, I post this composition again because you said that I have to edit it until the PC2, so that you could change my mark, and I didn't get how to edit a composition that I have already post as it is not appearing a place to click and do it. It is appearing only in the most recents compositions, not the one that I want. Ok?!)

That's just me :)

Hello! My name is Isabela and I’m 16 years old. I live in Niterói with my parents and my sister, Fernanda. Since I was a little girl, my parents have been teaching me how to be a better person, so I think the most special thing I have to offer is my character. But I’m also a very good listener and a great friend, as I’m always ready to help. Moreover, I really enjoy reading, listening to music, running, dancing, watching movies, writing and hanging out with my friends. Sometimes, I can be such a joker too! I try to live one day at a time and I believe we can learn a lot just by paying attention to everyday situations.
At the moment, I’m still in High School, but I intend to go to Law School. I hope one day I can make a difference in this crazy world, so I start by now(in the present, because kindness generates kindness).
Anyway, because of all that, I think I would have a lot to contribute to people in the reality show and I hope you choose me.

Helping people is the most important thing to do!

My name is Jaqueline Akemi Yamazuka and I live in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, but I’m originally from São Paulo, SP. I came to Niterói when I was six years old because my parents had the spelling to open their company. I come from a big family. In fact, my father's family is Japanese, so I can say I have many relatives in Japan. I always dream of going there.
At the moment, I study in Marília Mattoso. I’m currently studying English in Cultura Inglesa and I hope this will help me get a good job and can open some doors for me. I’m also interested in being a model. However I don’t want this to be my job, just a hobby, because what I really want to do is go to university to study “public relations”.
I'm really into making friends, and all the friends that I have say that I’m the most friendly and credibly person that they have seen. Moreover they say that a I’m a bit of a nerd, I don’t agree, but... I’m a chatterbox with them and I’m not shy with peoples. I love all types of music and dancing them too. I love to read books. I think that is necessary to do sports so I practice volleyball and play handball in the school team.
I’d love to be chosen. I think that my profile is very real and interesting because my motto is always helping others.

Alcohol with 16?

Everybody knows in Brazil the minimum age is 18. But should it to change for 16?

Many people believe that a teenager of 16 has conscience about what he is doing. That is, he knows what is a crime and yours punishments. The teenagers of 16 has some responsibility and know the diference between right and wrong.

On the other hand, if the minimum age will change for 16, the teenagers (from 16) will be able to drive, to go to adults places and, mainly, to drink. And in Brazil the alcohol is a problem. The minimun age in Brazil is 18, and a lot of teenagers (of 16 and 17) drink, if the minimum age was reduced to 16, the teen of 14 and 15 would drink?

In my opion the minimum age wouldn't be change. Because the teenagers in Brazil has any responsibility with theyselves neither with alcohol.

Tie the knot before graduation ? [new one] -> Bruna Lofeu Cury

Getting married nowadays is something easy, if you just don't see eye to eye with your husband or wife, it's easy to get divorced. That's why people forget that they need to be responsible in their decision.

We can see that in the past people used to get married at the age of 17 or 18. These marriages take a lot of time to fall apart, but it's fascinating that sometimes it doesn't. So maybe, people could really fall in love with their partner. And acquire the responsibility of being married.

Few people can deny that a lot of couples are breaking up more often that in the past. So people should think a lot before getting married and teenagers under 21 usually don't do that. Moreover getting married is a serious thing and should be done when both people are mature enough to deal with the things that the marrige brings.

Tying the knot is easy. The hard thing is to live side by side with your partner and learn from his or her faults.

In conclusion, I think that the best thing that people should do is to think carefully before taking any decision. And remember that what God has joined together men can't destroy and it's FOREVER.

I’m a bit of a nerd ,don’t know why .

Children can be criminal

According to the law, children over the age of twelve can't be responsible for a crime.
Many people believe that children are innocent and don't know everything about life, that's why they never really know what are doing and can't be respondible of anything.
However, children always grow up beeing educate by their parents or somebody else. So, they start to know what is correct and what is not the done thing since they were younger, that's why many people agree about changing the law.
In my opinion, children can be criminal exactly because they use that view of innocents to do a lot of wrong things, like rob, and don't be punished. I strongly believe that the law should be change so that children over the age of twelve can be responsible for a crime.

Teens driving, is that ok for you?

The minimum age for driving in Brazil is 18, but that's a topic of discuss. Many tennagers wish it to change but most of the adults and parents hope it to continue or to increase the age.
Driving is a very serious thing to do, and when you do something wrong the consequences are huge.
The teenagers are not responsible enought to drive a car, specially when they're 16 to 18.
The minimum age for driving should be increased to 20, because the teens will be more mature and they will be more responsible.
Few people can deny that most of the accidents that happen are caused by young drivers, usually around 18. Most of the times the driver is drunk or didn't know how to drive the car right. That's why the young people should think a little and see that driving brings a lot of maturity and responsible. Are they ready to do this?
On the other hand, some teenagers say that they're responsible to drive and they suffer for something that others irresponsible teens do. Moreover, some parents agree with that and trust enought their kids to drive. And we can't deny that young people driving make the parent's life easier because they don't have to pick up their child everytime they leave home.
In conclusion, is obvious that still exist responsible and matury teens but also have those ones that are always involved with accidents and irresponsible things. In my opinion, the minimum age for driving should be increased to 20. We would prevent a lot of accidents!

“The law is reason free from passion” Aristotle

Hello you! :)

Here comes the text...

Nowadays, it’s a fact that in most of car accidents, young people between 18 to 24 years old are involved. They’re usually leaving parties at dawn and driving under the influence, putting theirs and others lives at risk. Recently, a very well-known journalist published an article in the newspaper saying that the minimum age for driving in Brazil should be reduced to 16.

Inevitably, it caused a lot of controversy, because despite the fact that adolescents want to be more independent from its parents, many people considered this measure a threat to society, as car accidents involving young people are increasing a lot. (And only people up to 18 are able to drive. Imagine if the age was reduced.)

On the other hand, we should emphasize that even thought there are lots of irresponsible teenagers, some part of them is mature enough to drive a car with no adult supervision and it is very unfair to deprive them from this opportunity.

I recognize some vantages, but I’m against the potential law. I tend to think it would only be a good thing if the government invested in education and driving lessons to adolescents.

Otherwise, every time a person turned 16, their friends would think “Oh! There’s one more trying to increase the number of deaths in traffic!”. Just kidding! ;P

21-year-old Wedding Discussion

Should it be illegal to get married before the age of 21? Might a person be responsible enough to get married at this age?

Many people think that it should be legal saying that when a person is eighteen this person is responsible enough to vote, be arrested if it does something wrong and to drive. Moreover marriage is a particular problem of the couple which is getting married and nobody has to do with that.

On the other hand, we have to admit that it’s a big decision for a couple to take because it can change their lives forever in a good or in a bad way.

I don’t have anything against getting married before 21 but I wouldn’t do it. In my opinion you should live a little bit more so you can get a longer life experience and sometimes avoid an unnecessary wedding.

Waiting for freedom!

Every teenager goes to parties and hangs out with friends! Obviously that they need a ride to go there because the parties normally are far and late. This problem would be resolved if the minimum age for driving be 16.
Although, many adults believe that teenagers are irresponsible and don’t agree with this. Other reason is that many adolescents already consume alcohol and this cause accident. Including that this is a serious crime.
On other hand is a good think because some teenagers have old parents and on an emergency they can help them. In favor off teenagers they can have more free to came back home. Moreover their parents won’t have to wake up at night to pick up their sons.
In conclusion if the teenagers pass at the exam and acts with responsibility they could drive and learn to have responsible early. For this reason the minimum age for driving should be reduced!

My name is João Vitor and I’m 15 years old. I was born and I grew up at Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. I came from a small family with my parents and a sister.

I spent most of my childhood at my cousins’ house. I used to go there every weekend so I could play some football with them and I really enjoyed it. But nowadays I prefer spending my time with my parents and hanging out with my friends.

I’m really into music. I enjoy listening to bands like Green Day, The Police, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and most recently Kaiser Chiefs (photo) for hours every single day. I also play drums in a rock band called In-Versos.

I enjoy traveling as well. Most recently, I’ve been to Vienna, Austria and I can guarantee you that it’s a wonderful place for you to visit if you are traveling to Europe.

Finally, I’d like to participate because in my opinion it’s a nice way of making new friends and why not winning a nice prize.

Hi,

My name is Pedro Azeredo and I’m fifteen years old. I was born in Niterói and I live here since than. However I also had a small farm in the countryside where I spent a lot of time in my childhood. There I used to play football, swim in the river, and a lot of things that are only possible in places like that.

I am skinny and I have a small black hair. Some people says I am tall but I don’t think so, in my opinion it’s because I was very short when I was younger, and now it’s strange to that to people to see me like that.

I consider myself a bit of a joker and workaholic. I am very into sports, specially football, unfortunately I am not very good at it but I enjoy watching. I also like music, in my opinion the old ones are the best, my favourites bands are: Queen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Guns N’ Roses, The Beatles and others. And I have my own band named In-Versos. Now we are making more covers from other bands but we are beginning to make our own songs. I love hanging out with friends too and I also enjoy reading and other things.

I don’t have lots of plans to my future. But what I Can say is that I’m planning to enter in a good university to get a good job in the future, but I still have to decide what I gonna do.

So, that’s a little bit of me, I could write more but I think it would be unnecessary.

Sometimes, I'm gonna have to lose.

One day, I met a boy from my school. He was very cute and funny. So, we had great conversations and got on like a house on fire.
I clearly remember to see him just as a new friend. Later, I realizes that I was starting to have feelings for him and he was feeling it too. I had a boyfriend on that period of time. The thing is, I fell in love with another guy and I didn't want to break up with my boyfriend because we had been together for one year and a half. So, I thought: "What am I supposed to do?".
For some weeks, I just stayed alone a lot of time, so that I could think more about that situation and decides who I was really in love with. Then, I realized that I was thinking about the new guy most of the time and being in a relationship when you like somebody else is not the done thing. So, I broke up with my boyfriend.
Believe it or not, when the new guy and I had everything to be okay, he receives news form his mum: he and his family were going to move to another city because his dad changed his job.
In the end, I realized that I left both of them.
